technology a boon or a curse

Technology has been growing by the day and will soon supersede every form of tedious labor. Robots will complete our tasks and help humans have a tranquil and facile life. But is this statement true? Is technology beneficial? When calculators control our children, they won't be able to think for themselves. The machine will become their brain and they will become useless: A mere control center for a program.
I first realized the laziness which the calculator advocates during my algebra class. When we were finding the intersection of lines, solving matrices, and the central tendencies of data, my class was allowed to use the calculator for easier and quicker methods. Gradually I became hooked to this device and forgot the manual way to solve the problem. On testing day my calculator stopped functioning because the batteries went out.
This is when I realized the amount of dependency that I had developed towards the calculator and the extent to which I had left traditional practices of solving the problem. Finally I bombed the test and realized my blunder of overusing a device which creates a lazy and unprepared brain. Are calculators reliable? How can we trust a programmed instrument if we don't even know the basics and principles of the problems that we are solving. Hence we should develop a sense of mental math and alacrity in thinking to avoid becoming a slave of technology.
Many people laugh at movies like "i-Robot" and "Terminator" where robots ravage the world. They eliminate everything except for their metal comrades. But humans need to prepare for adverse conditions. What if someone makes a mistake in programming robots, and the machines turn against humans. Their strength will overpower our strength, their intelligence will overpower our intelligence and our world will become theirs. The obliteration of the human race will be imminent, waiting at our doorstep. With the proper and wise use of technology we can have a safe world.
While focusing our mind on growing, we must not forget what steps can eventually destroy us. Anyone can become successful but we must prosper and survive.

Technology is necessary but not always a positive influence in modern life. This issue has especially come into vogue in the last decade due to the mind-boggling pace of technology. Also, this issue is a complex one because it involves a conflict between the traditional and the modern.

First, it goes without saying that technology has made our lives easier to the extent that repetitive and monotonous tasks need not be performed manually. These tasks, by their very nature, are irascible and reduce the productive potential of an individual. To give an illustration, consider the task of an accountant having to compute various statistics as a part of his job. Before the advent of computers, he had to do this job "by hand".

As is obvious, the job involves tedious computations on his part. Such a job will, no doubt, lead to irritation and the person will soon lose all motivation. On the other hand, if such tiresome tasks are automated, not only will it make the accountant's job easier but it will also improve efficiency and accuracy of the job.

Computer considered as Machinery God , is anelectronic device that reduces human laborious effort. In this 21st century, computer can be known by the name of next human brain. The invention of computer made human life much easier, faster and comfortable.Computer is regarded as one of the greatest achievements made by Scientist till now.Computer ,an electronic device, which has made life easier and comfortable is today surrounded with many questions of threats .Whether Computers are helping us or creating problem to us is matter of discussion.
